Hey Gang... I'm looking for an all Koa set for a Hawaiin style guitar, I need the top, the back and the sides (actually I have some sides but I figure no one will sell me just a top and back  )
I don't really want to buy two full sets of Koa to do this if I can help it, I have plans for something to take to healdsburg if I can get things here fast enough Thanks -Paul- |

Check with Steve at Colonial. He has sold me a top only and it was so curly I made my granddaughter blush

Maybe try Bob Gleason at Pegasus? He's got quite a bit of Koa, lives on the Islands, and I know he does 'full' sets for all-koa Ukes. You never know, he might just have some backs without sides around that he could spare.. |

Thanks All.. I've sent emails to each to see what they have. I've dealt with Bob before, he's my main source for Koa binding. Thanks -Paul- |

If you strike out with them, there is a guy on ebay from hawaii that always has koa posted and much of the time he has a whole set (side, back and top). Just look through the builder luthier section of musical instruments |
